Confusion. Loneliness. Depression. Hopelessness.
These are but a few of the problems people face in the harsh realities of this world.
But Jesus said, "Be of good cheer; for I have overcome the world."
This same Jesus, who overcame the world, yearns to set you free from whatever hardships and pains you carry. He wants to be your Lord. He wants to be your Savior. He wants to be your friend.
We welcome you - with open hearts, minds, and doors - to come experience God with us today. Whether it is for the very first time, or simply the first time in a long time, you are sure to find the Lord's presence at Bethel United Methodist Church.
After 6 years of service, Rev. Jason Jones' final Sunday will be June 16. We'll have a joint worship service that morning at Brooks Chapel, 11 AM. Cake and punch will be shared afterward, and those who'd like to bring snacks may do so. Rev. Leah Wilkerson, new campus minister for the MSU Wesley Foundation, will speak on June 23. Rev. Sam Chambers, our new pastor, will have his first Sunday on June 30.
For the month of June, we're asking that everyone bring cold drinks (two-liters or cans) to help us prepare/stock up for our Fall Festival. Name brands aren't necessary.
We're still collecting aluminum can tabs for St. Jude. Feel free to bring your tabs and leave them in our canister in the narthex.
